with nothing to do, when you on the phone, at the pub, eating a meal or simply sleeping.
Wouldn't it be nice to put your computer to use during these times?
You may well have heard of distributed processing before,
with things like seti@home, distributed.net and various others, all of which work by
getting people all across the world, to utilise their spare computing power to solve
large, processor intensive problems.
Well now a few companies are beginning to see the
commercial benefit of this, and are offering payment to people who get involved with their
systems. Things are still in the early stages at the moment, with all of the companies in
the later stages of their testing, but one this is finished they will be offering payment
for the amount of data which your computer(s) can crunch.

service will offer a referal service, with a small percentage of other peoples earnings
available through five levels of separation. You can sign up now, and either get involved
in the Beta testing stage, or leave your details with them, and they will contact you when
the service goes live properly. There are no details currently available for how much you
can earn. Any referals you get during this stage will count when the service goes live. |
